My Sound Explanation.

For inquiry we are studying sound for our topic,  this explanation will explain what sound is and how sound is made and different kind of parts that help you hear sounds. Also you will know some parts that a developing what you hear

Sound waves can travel through the air. It is also like tiny waves or a ripple that you can make when you throw a rock, ripples move when the rock goes in the middle then it increases a circle wave that goes at the end of the water.

Also animals like  Bats use sounds to guide them through the dark also they can listen for their echo's. Sounds can bounce off surfaces like a ball bouncing off a wall this is called a reflection sounds bounce off hard smooth surfaces in .

Also when you go in a very big quiet place you can hear something when you say something  it will reflect and  walls had bounced off the walls and made a echo.

if their was no sound people around the world will have to learn silent language and be able to understand people also we could try and create some experiments to translate people if they're lost with anything.

Answer the following questions in red:

What types of ideas is dad always getting?
Dad was always getting odd-ball ideas from his friends and family also  his siblings. That's why every time hes comes home he’s in a good mood.

What do you think an ‘odd-ball idea is’?
Oddball is like odd sculptures to make stuff and today one of his friends had gave him a odd-ball idea to make a early trumpet.

Where were ‘simple trumpets’ originally found?
It was found in tutankhamen's tomb

Why was dads trumpet making no noise to begin with?
He put his lips together and blew out his red cheeks. As the blew the heard a little raspberry noise come out of the funnel.

Why is dad making a trumpet? Who is he trying to ‘show what trumpeting is all about?
1.So he can get Andrew to go practice
2.He is trying to prove to Andrew that he can design a real early trumpets.

For what reason did dad decide to use a balloon to blow his trumpet?
Because when you put the balloon at the end of the hose it’ll make noise if you push the funnel back in place.

What are your predictions for dads new materials he’s using to make his trumpet?
I think its cool because Hes tried new stuff too go with his new early trumpet and trying to make noise heaps of noise.
It seems that dad is doing a trial and error of different ways he could make a trumpet, do you agree with this statement? Why/why not?
No because everything he tried didn't even make a long noise like more than 3 sec it just made a little squeak
