Inquiry Post - About How Touch Screens Work .

In Inquiry I have learnt 5 facts about how does a touch screen work. We have got are task from my teacher, we had to find 5 facts about one of the books from technology.

1.  Some touch screen devices need a pen to activate them.

2. The first touch screen was invented in 1970.

3. Some touch screens run by sound waves that flow across the surface.

4. Also Touch screens are on gaming consoles

5. Before touch screens people press tiny buttons to make calls and messages

Today Mrs Kyla came into my class and told us about the 3 p's online. We went through all of the things that are in those 3 p's. She told us what do we do for protection online, also the partnership online and the last one is particpation.

Today is a special day, we had 3 visitors come to our school. The 1st person was Andrew Patterson from the Radio Studio. The 2nd visitor was Marcus Winter A.K.A ( Sand Man ) .
Also the last person was Louis Gordon - Latty.

Andrew Patterson - 
Andrew Patterson Gave us some of his quotes about having good thoughts about our future and one of the quotes was it all starts with how you think.

Marcus Winter - 
Marcus winter also known as the sand man he is one of the best street artist and now works on the Caribbean ships. He also made are quote and it was on bruno mars song it was Dont Believe Me just Watch.

Louis Gordon Latty - 
Louis invented the i pad recorder that record's the game while he plays are game and then edits it after then publish it on his site.

My Zeal Zone Project

Today in Zeal Zone we got a subject to research about what was in WW1. Here are some equipment from the World War one. They used some of these equipment in the War to clean them self and keep them Hydrated.

Technology Good or Bad.

In the war, Mr Burt ( Principal ) walked into the our learning area to talk to us. He said that his grandfather was living when the first world war one was about to begin. He was one of the first boys to have a bicycle's.

The English side keep talking about how good there ships were and how they will blow up the Germans. But then the Germans looked at the news and made their ship. Then every time the English had made an awesome gun or tank it was always appeared in the newspaper and the Germans found out , and the Germans copyed what the English had made but much better.

Anzac Memorial.

Every year on the 25th of April,  we celebrate the soldiers that went to war. Thinking about the soldiers that have sacrificed their lives for us. It is also known as ‘ANZAC Day’. But this years Anzac day is more special than all of the pass Anzac days we have been Celebrating.

Because on 2015 is the 100th anniversary of the First World War One. There will be a big stone called cenotaph at the Auckland museum which has all of the soldiers that went to war and fought for our country.

When I sat down thinking about all of the soldiers names on their crosses.

It was emotional to see how much soldiers lives have been sacrificed on the field with white crosses. Its a travesty to see your dad or a friend to die in a battle.

Its very hard to hear that one of your family members had past their lives at war. Especially the kids that a living without a father or a mother, that's a  bit devastating living without a husband. It might have been peaceful in the homes that have lost lives because kids will be depressing.

Week 3 Word Problems

Weekend Recount.

On Friday after school my dad came back from work and told me to get my clothes ready so I can go to my uncles place for the weekend. When we got to my uncle's place he gave his laptop to play game (Dota 2) , Later when my dad left I started playing Dota 2 with my Uncles brother. We played till 2 o'clock and then I fell asleep.

Then the next day I started playing game in the morning and then we had are barbarque for Mothers day we started marinading the meat in the morning and then we fried it after church. We finished at about 8pm at night. I went inside and got my laptop and played game till 10pm.

Zeal zone Post

Today for Zeal zone in was in music with Mr slade. We learnt two of the songs that were remembered in the war. one of the songs were We'll meet again, And a long way to temporary, It was are inspiring song that every one sang together.
